Kindermusik
Interested in music or dance lessons for children under the age of 3? BCAPA offers Kindermusik classes for children from birth to 7 years old! Kindermusik is a research based program that incorporates music and movement for young children and families. Research shows that music and dance lessons help young children with self regulation, interpersonal relationships, listening skills, self expression and confidence. These classes also build a foundation for the basics of rhythm, instruments, music notation and a love for music and movement! This makes Kindermusik the perfect precursor for all music and dance lessons. Sarah Teichler currently leads our program and has been certified to teach Kindermusik since 1999. She believes that music is for everyone and that music instruction enriches a child’s development cognitively, socially, and emotionally.
