Music Lessons
BCAPA’s music program offers lessons for students of all ages, birth to adult. Programming includes private music lessons, group classes, Kindermusik, and performance opportunities throughout the year.
Private Music Lessons
Private music lessons are an excellent choice for families seeking a structured approach with a focus on reading sheet music and developing technical skills.
We currently offer lessons in Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello Flute, Voice, Clarinet, Harp, French Horn, Trombone, Trumpet, Saxophone, and Ukulele.
Lessons start as young as age 5 depending on the instrument.
Group Music Lessons
BCAPA’s group classes allow students to experience the joy of making music together while building confidence and teamwork. These classes are a fun and supportive way to learn and grow alongside peers!
Current group classes include Beginning Strings, Flute Choir, and Ukulele.

Kindermusik
Music and Movement lessons for Ages 0-7. Kindermusik is an early childhood “grown up and me” program designed to provide a rich and engaging musical experience for children from infancy to early school age.
“When Elizabeth began violin at the age of three, she was a very shy and introverted child. She also didn’t talk or interact much at her preschool. After being involved in the Suzuki violin program at BCAPA she gained confidence and talked more to her peers. We completely feel that her experience at BCAPA is credited for this change. She is now on her 10th year of playing the violin and enjoys it very much.”
