Traditional Music Lessons

BCAPA offers traditional music lessons in Piano, Harp, Flute, Voice, Clarinet, Violin, Viola, & Cello to ages 5 and up. Traditional music lessons typically follow a structured curriculum that includes learning to read sheet music, mastering technique, and understanding music theory. This approach provides a solid foundation for musical education, fostering discipline and precision in playing an instrument. The benefits of traditional music lessons extend beyond musical proficiency, enhancing cognitive skills, boosting patience and perseverance, and instilling a lifelong appreciation for the art of music. Our experienced instructors tailor lesson plans to the needs of each student during weekly, one-on-one lessons.

As part of a special music internship program, we also offer lessons with upper-level university music students upon recommendation of their professors. These instructors are identified as Apprentice Instructors. Upon registering, students will set up lesson times and days with the instructor.
